My hair today
Here is my hair as of about ten minutes ago. This is my natural color, with bun waves, so it looks a deal shorter than it really is, I'll try to take a straight photo soon. Thanks to my daughter Ysobel, who took the picture, what a great kid!
Gorgeous! I also sport long hair. Not nearly as long as yours but it is below my bra line if I pull the curl out of it (yes, natural curl). Have you always worn it long or is this something new?
I feel most comfortable with hair at least this long, and I have had it this long at least three times in my life, all grown out from very short. This is all grown out from a cut that was above my ears about three and a half years ago. Five years ago I had turquoise hair! :)
I would really love to see your hair. I love long hair!
Me too. When I can get a moment with my partner I will get a picture. Are you patial to certain brands of shampoo and conditioner? I find I'm quite picky.
My scalp is very sensitive- I'm intolerant to the most used sulfates, so I can't use shampoo and conditioner from most grocery store lines. Sodium Laurel Sulfate and Sodium Laureth Sulfate both cause weeping sores on my scalp.
In the past few years a lot of companies have started releasing options that my scalp can handle, some of which are pretty economical. Right now I'm using Organix Coconut Milk S&C, and I'm planning on buying the Shea Butter S&C soon to try out. I've also done well with Live Clean, but I really prefer the scents of Organix.
I have one brand out of the UK, Trevor Sorbee (not affiliated with any I talk about) that I love even though it has bad things in it :( However, I recently purchased a LUSH solid bar shampoo and I want to try more because I absolutely LURVE them.
I have not been updating. I've been going through some stress and my nails have suffered greatly. I am too ashamed to show them to you in their current state. I am moving at the end of June, and hope to be updating thereafter.
